SEO Services – The cost benefits for your Company.

As an SEO services provider fro Munster I know that most companies have a web site but a lot of companies don’t give it the Attention that it deserves.

Your website is of little use to your company if no one can find it. This is where SEO comes in.
SEO generally means small changes to the design of the site to ensure That new customers and not just the ones who already know about your Company can find your site and the products/services that you sell.

Most SEO companies in Munster offer 2 main choices Natural search optimisation
And Pay per Click campaigns.

Natural Search optimisation

This is the most important thing to have right for your company site. It normally is the
Source for the most visitors to your site. Natural Search or Organic Search as it is also known
Is the list of results that you see on the left side of the screen in Google or other search engines.
Despite what a lot of SEO companies claim you cant buy “top positions in Google in 24hrs” the algorithms
That Google use are far more complicated (and Secret) than just how many times does the word searched for appear on the page. Google looks at the content of your site for relevant content. It examines the keywords you have provided and how and where those words appear in the page. Putting tons of keywords in the tags for your page and nowhere on the page itself is a waste of time. So the key to good indexing by Google is the correct choice of keywords and content. Also remember that new customers are probably not going to be searching for your company name but for the products and services you provide so don’t have your company name appear on the title of every page on your site! Put the product or services that you are promoting the most in the title and description for that products page to ensure the best possible change of it being located.
Be patient it can take Google a while to find your site.
You can submit a site to Google from - http://www.google.com/addurl/
But as Google say themselves they will probably find you by other means first ( but no harm doing this anyway ).
Another tool to help Google find your Site are Googles Webmaster tools
http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools
This allows you to submit sitemaps to Google to help find the content on your site.

Pay Per Click

This is the quickest way to see an increase in visitors to your site ( at a cost! ) you create your advertising campaign and adverts to run, assign a cost per click and daily budget and within just a few minutes your adverts will appear on the right hand side or top of the page in Goggles Search results. This form of advertising can prove extremely efficient and cost effective as you have complete control over your daily weekly or monthly costs also when combines with Google analytics another free service from Google to view visitors to your site it allows you to see exactly how many people from where have visited your site also what search terms are used and what are your top products by tracking what people click on within your site. Generally pay per click is used for an initial boost to new or updated sites and then the budget reduced over time to allow for a steady stream of customers. As with all advertising you should be checking with new customers and leads where they heard about your company. This will allow you to gauge how the campaign is doing and to adjust your budget accordingly. A small advert in a local paper can cost several hundred Euro has no guaranteed results and may not be seen or acted on by a single new customer to your business. Pay per click displays your advert to customers already searching for the product you supply and as you are only charged if the advert is clicked on you know that they have visited your site.

Cost benefits of both systems
If you have a website that you maintain yourself then you can carry out basic SEO optimisation. If you don’t update the site yourself your web designer may be able to do this for you for a small fee. Otherwise companies like my own offer a range of SEO services and can do the work for you. The acid test is to go to Google search and type in what your company does. For example I mainly offer my SEO services in the Munster region as I believe in working closely with my customers face to face.
So a search for SEO services Munster finds just want I want it to.
Try this for your own services/products for both the web and Ireland and see where you rank.

How to improve your Page rank or How to move up the results page will be dealt with in my next posting.
